Guess who’s back, back again, Kristyn’s back, tell a friend 😉
Yes, I am back! It has been a hot minute since I posted anything. I believe it was a month ago that I posted and since then, I took a break. It was very unintentional, but I had wedding plans that needed finalising, my free time was being taken up and I just wanted to spend some quality time with my new husband 🙂 If you didn’t know, I got married a month ago 🙂
Anyways, I am back now and just going with the flow of things. I’m not letting myself get too stressed about posting, but I am hoping to post at least 2-3 times a week and I will go from them. Again, stress-free, it’s what I need right about now.
So, if you feel like it, keep on reading to find out about the Quo Cosmetics Eye Shadow Palette.
What Is It?
As it says in the title, this product is an eyeshadow palette consisting of 4 different shades. The one that I am reviewing has 4 pastel shades perfect for Spring. There is another quad in the collection which consists of 4 darker mattes.
I obviously gravitated towards the pastel quad as I am a neutral person and it just screamed Spring to me.
The four shades in the quad consist of a mint green, a light peach, a light pink and a mauve. They all have a slight shimmer to them. Down below you can see the swatches:
Keep in mind that these shades are pastel so they are coming up lighter than other shadows.
First off, I love the packaging! It screams Spring, the colours are gorgeous and it’s the perfect size. I love how much product I get for each shadow, coming in at 3.5g per shadow. When you open it up, the packaging is white and sleek. The mirror is the same size of the package which is amazing.
The only thing I am worried about is how well the shadows will show up on my lids. I have yet to use it, so I can’t give a full review yet, but from just doing swatches, they were coming up a bit light. I know they are pastel, but there are other palettes that have these vibrant pastels. Besides that, the formula is creamy and it blends out beautifully on the skin. Again, I will have to see how well it performs on the lids.
The price of the palette is $18 CDN.
So what do you think about this palette? Is it something you would use or is it a pass from you? I will let you know how I feel about it in a week or so when I post my final review. I am hoping for a positive review!
Thanks for reading and thank you to my loyal readers who stay with me even when I take a million breaks haha
