Happy July 1st everyone! Or in my country we like to say, Happy Canada Day! 😉
This post is just going to be a random jumble of thoughts. One day I am hoping to start uploading YouTube videos, as I am a very good talker and I feel like I would get my thoughts out more than I do on here. Not saying I don’t love blogging, but that is my ultimate goal. My main reason for holding back is my self-confidence. As mentioned in My Fitness Journey post, I am hoping to regain my self-confidence back and go back to the way I was. Anyways, I can’t wait to share with all of you, my first post this Friday and how this week has gone. I hope these posts will be inspiring for others and you can share your journey’s as well.
I went to the drugstore yesterday and picked up a few items that I have never tried. I am proud to say I went in and only bought 4 items, but they have been on my mind for quite some time now and they happened to be all on sale. If I used that excuse for why I bought an item, I would honestly have no money.
- Rimmel Wonder’Ful Wake Me Up mascara
- Revlon Highlighting palette in Peach Glow
- L’Oreal Infallible Setting Spray
- Essie Matte top coat
The mascara was new in my drugstore and I loved their other mascara with the argan oil. It had such an amazing brush and formula to it, I wanted to give this one a try.The highlighting palette is something that I have been lusting over for the longest time now. It reminds me of Bobbi Brown’s, but obviously cheaper. It was on sale and there was no way I was passing it up.
The infallible spray is something that I have been going back and forth one. You all know I love my UD setting sprays, so I am very hesitant to try other ones. Again, I saw this was on sale, I was running out of my UD one, so it was a must for me to try. The Essie matte top coat was an impulse buy, but I have been wanting a matte top coat for a long time. I love the look of matte anything and this was a given.
On Twitter last month, I said that I wanted to make June the best month for my blog. Well, that didn’t exactly happen and that is okay. It doesn’t help when I only blogged so many times. I hope this month will be my best month when it comes to my posts. I am trying to make it more interesting, so that is my goal this month. You will be seeing a lot of reviews and posts about my collections. I am planning on doing MOTD posts too, so you can get a feel for what I normally wear.
I think the hardest part about blogging is getting posts out there and hoping it relates to someone. This is why I love hearing your recommendations, so I know exactly what you want to read. It’s always good to get advice from other’s that way you know where to head in the future.
Also, this may be my last month for my Ipsy bag. I love it so much, but it doesn’t feel worthwhile to keep going. With the Canadian dollar being low, my Ipsy bag costs close to 20 dollars a month. With that much being charged to me a month, I much rather save it and put it towards something else. We will see though.
I hope you enjoy my future posts and like I said, please let me know what you would like to see 🙂
Have a great night!
