Maybelline Master Prime–Blur + Redness Control

I just want to start out by saying that yes, this is another Maybelline product review. I am in no way endorsed by this company, I just really love the brand. I have never had a problem with their products and I find that they suit my face the best. As well, they have never let me down, so I will keep buying 🙂

It is available in three different formulas that all blur any imperfections that you may have. I bought mine in the Blur + Redness Control, but you can also get it in Blur + Smooth and Blur + Illuminate.

The product comes in a sleek black bottle (30 ml) and each formula has a different colour on the packaging, mine being lime green. It has an easy screw off cap, with an easy to squeeze packaging.

The back of the bottle states that It visually blurs imperfections and smoothes fine lines. Primes skin to control the look of redness and does not clog pores. This was especially important to me because my pores clog like crazy and before I know it, I have broken out.

When applying the primer, there is a tint of green in the product, as that will cover up the redness. It has a tiny bit of fragrance, but not enough to the point of it being overwhelming. You don’t need a lot of product to apply to your face, as a dime size will go a long way. I don’t find it to be oily at all and it blends into my skin nicely.

I am crazy obsessed with this primer. This is probably the first primer EVER that has done what it says it will do. I get really bad redness on my cheeks, nose and under my eyes, so you bet that I want it covered up. I apply a thin consistency and that is enough for the areas I want covered. I don’t know how Maybelline did it, but I swear by this product. I have tried primers before by different brands that are meant for redness, but it has never done anything for me. They have only left my face oily and greasy looking.

You can wear this primer alone or with foundation. If you just wear it alone, it covers up your imperfections perfectly that you won’t even need to worry about foundation. This will be perfect for the summer time because the last thing I want is my makeup sweating off of me.

As well, I use my Maybelline Master Conceal by Facestudio and the combination of these two products are amazing! With the redness control from the primer and the full coverage from the concealer, my makeup has never looked better.

If you tried the other two primers in this line, let me know! I would love to know how they worked out for you 🙂
