Target, don’t go!

My beloved Target is leaving Canada 😦 It is probably one of the saddest things because I love Target. I love it more than Walmart and honestly, I found makeup to be a lot cheaper there than anywhere else.

Obviously, Canadians didn’t love it like I did because they are all closing down. The only good thing about this decision, is the liquidation they have on their products. I mean, it is not an incredible discount, but I will take it for now.

I decided to take advantage of this liquidation to pick up a few products that I will probably never see again, like Sonia Kashuk. I don’t think people give her enough credit or maybe they haven’t heard too much of her. In Canada, I believe you can only find her brand in Target, so must people don’t even know who she is. I love her makeup and her brushes. I can honestly say that I have never had a problem with any of her products. Even though they are on the pricier end, I would pick her makeup over any other brand. I am going to be sad to see her line go, so I am hoping to stock up the most I can.

With that being said, I wanted to share with you what I bought. I will definitely be doing a few product reviews later on, as there are a few items I have instantly fallen in love with and one, not so much.

photo (9)I want to apologize for the lackluster quality of the photo. My phone is a little too bright and mix that in with a ceiling lamp and you get brightness overload. The items that I bought include:

  • Sonia Kashuk Perfecting Translucent IlluminatorΒ
  • Sonia Kashuk Chic Luminosity Highlighter Stick
  • Sonia Kashuk Duo Fiber Fan Brush No. 129
  • Maybelline Colour Tattoo in Bold Gold
  • Revlon Colour Stay Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in Charm
  • Maybelline Eyebrow Drama in Translucent
  • L’Oreal Paris Dermo Expertise Gentle Makeup Remover
  • L’Oreal Hair Expertise Fibrology Mask

I also got the shampoo and conditioner by L’Oreal in the same line as the Expertise Mask. I had about $35 in savings, which is pretty decent when the makeup was only 30% off. I am super excited to try everything out, especially the hair mask. A lot of the makeup I bought are products that I currently love or by brands that I already love. Everything is brand new, so like I said, a lot of reviews.

If there is any product on this list that you would like to know more of, let me know and I will make sure to get it up ASAP!

Well, farewell Target…it’s been swell! I will see you in the States πŸ˜‰
